Daniel J. Louis
Owner & Managing Partner
Daniel came to the firm after his good friend and colleague, John-Austin Diamond, Esq., passed away in August 2022. Daniel’s mission in taking over John-Austin’s practice has been to carry on his legacy of zealously representing injured workers and aggressively fighting for the underdogs.

Prior to representing injured workers, Daniel was a partner at a major New York Defense Base Act law firm, where he spent over a decade representing all the major Defense Base Act employers and insurance carriers in the industry. Daniel has handled hundreds of cases before the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs and Office of Administrative Law Judges, along with numerous appeals before the Benefits Review Board. He also has experience litigating employment and tort cases in federal and state courts.
Prior to working for one of the nation’s top Defense Base Act firms, Daniel worked as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Philip S. Carchman in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Daniel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Albright College, where he was a captain of the baseball team, a member of the cross-country team, a member of the Dearden Business Account & Economics Honor Society, a member of Pi Sigma Alpha (National Political Science Honor Society), and a member of the Society of Jacob Albright Scholars.
After attending Albright College, Daniel graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 2008. While at Rutgers Law, Daniel interned at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in New York, New York, served as a Law Clerk in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., and served as Law Clerk to the Major League Baseball Players Association in New York, New York. Daniel was a Student Associate for the Rutgers Constitutional Litigation Clinic and Senior Managing Notes & Comments Editor for the Rutgers Race & the Law Review.
